Happy New Year!

It may be a bit early where I am posting, but I won't get it posted in time, so depending on where you live this is either late, or early, either way Happy New Year! I wish all my readers well this year, (About the 2 of them, considering the blog started a few hours ago!) Well anyways, thats all I wanted to say.

Product of the Week: Xbox 360 HDMI Conversion Kit

This is a segment I will try to do every week, this weeks product is a converter that takes the Analouge quality from your 360 and converts it to a digital signal. Basically this means that those who do not have a HDMI port on their 360s can get near HDMI quality using this device. This product isn't out yet, but many sites are taking pre-orders. I don't know much about digital video products, but if your willing to put down the $90 for this device, you can see for your selves. Im hoping to have products here that I can review myself, but I will do my best.

Xbox 360 HDMI Conversion Kit

Personally, I am waiting for my 360 to breakdown so I could send it in and ask (or demand) for a Premium console that comes with a HDMI port.

The product itself is facing much controvesy, some say it will give you a better picture, others will say its worse, if you really want this product, I suggest you do some research before putting the money down for this device. Some people on various Internet blogs, forums, site, etc have suggested pawning a HDMI-less 360 in for a Arcade unit, but be aware, if you do this your DVD tray won't have the silver chrome finish on it anymore!

The decision is yours, the possibiltys are out their, I would do some research and see which option would be the right one.

Podcast

If I were to do a Podcast, would any of you be intrested? It will be about Gaming, Movies, etc

The Format War

Firstly let me say I am supporting HD DVD, and I am willing to support it for as long as the format shall stay on the market. I have no plan on getting a Blu Ray player, unless I get a PS3, I might post some major updates about things going on in this "war" here.

Secondly, their are huge rumors spreading that Warner will choose exclusivity, they are sceduled to hold a big conference at the HD DVD report at CES 2008. This could mean 2 things

  1. "Friends, thanks for your support, but were choosing Blu Ray, not HD DVD, bye!"
  2. "Friends, you've been good to us, and now we are choosing HD DVD, thanks!

Im hoping its number 2 for obious reasons, whats your choice?

A New Blog

Hey, instead of having a bunch of different blogs put together I decided to keep just one, all my major sites will be linked to this, hopefully it will make things easier to track for everyone.
